In the near future, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the venue for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue, where the shows will be held once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, they have ongoing plans to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during the CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts in the newly built stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the current Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction of the stadium will commence this year and is expected to be completed by 2027.
Fans of country music will continue to have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium in Nashville from downtown by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The upcoming stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one, as it will be an enclosed facility designed specifically to enhance the fan experience. It will offer beautiful panoramic views of Nashville, have a translucent roof, and provide 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is an extraordinary event for country music enthusiasts. It originated in 1972 with a modest gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium but has since evolved into one of the largest annual events in country music. People from all over the world come together in Music City each year to witness over 250 performances by various artists across nine different stages.
