Country singer Reba McEntire will be working with the team from her previous show "Reba" on a new sitcom for television.
Following her time as a coach on the TV show The Voice, Reba McEntire is now working with NBC on a new comedy pilot that does not yet have a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly becomes co-owner of her father's restaurant with her previously unknown half-sister.

McEntire will work together again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on popular shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has ordered its first pilot for 2024 after the strikes from WGA and SAG-AFTRA came to an end.

The singer known for her hit song "Fancy" made her TV debut in the early 2000s with the successful sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons between the years 2001 and 2007.
In the show, McEntire played the role of a mother from Texas who is dealing with the end of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's pregnancy as a teenager.
