6 Last Haunting Performances: Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Daryle Singletary + More
George Jones was aware that his last concert was approaching. Daryle Singletary, on the other hand, was not aware of this fact, which added an eerie touch to the song he decided to close the night with.
Following Merle Haggard's passing, there was a widely circulated story claiming that Toby Keith assisted him in exiting the stage gracefully. However, this story turned out to be false, as Keith was not present at Haggard's last performance, and the individual who spread the misinformation was also absent.
In fact, the actor W. Earl Brown was not present at the event where Keith assisted Haggard. He only learned about it afterwards.

The website Taste of Country found a review of Merle Haggard's last concert, and found a touching moment that deserved just as much attention as the Toby Keith hero story. This moment is one of six memories from Haggard's final concert, which are shared in the video above and in pictures below.
The video includes John Denver's final performance, Johnny Cash's last song, and Waylon Jennings' made-for-TV farewell, creating a bittersweet experience.
We really enjoy the Singletary performance. If you know the song "Old Violin" by Johnny Paycheck, you'll understand the emotion he put into it. If you're not familiar with the song, make sure to continue watching.
