Country music star Reba McEntire will be joining forces with the team from her hit sitcom "Reba" for a new television show. McEntire is making a return to television.
Following her time as a coach on The Voice, Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new comedy pilot that has not been given a title yet.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show is centered on the main character played by McEntire, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is surprised to find out that she now has a new business partner in the form of her previously unknown half-sister, leading to some mixed feelings about the situation.

McEntire is set to work again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, known for his work on Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has made their first pilot order for 2024 following the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
