Reba McEntire Returns to TV: Reuniting with ‘Reba’ Team for New Sitcom

Country music star Reba McEntire will be reuniting with the team from her previous show "Reba" for a new sitcom, marking her return to television.

Following her time as a coach on the TV show The Voice, Reba McEntire is now collaborating with NBC on a new multi-camera comedy pilot.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly becomes co-owner of her late father's restaurant with a half-sister she never knew existed.

McEntire will be working with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has previously worked on shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.

According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on the upcoming NBC comedy series.

NBC has made its first pilot order for 2024, following the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
