Reba McEntire Returns to TV: Reuniting with ‘Reba’ Team for New Sitcom

Reba McEntire is reuniting with the team from the show "Reba" to work on a new sitcom, marking her return to television.

Following her time as a coach on The Voice, Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new comedy pilot that has yet to be named.

The show, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, follows the story of a woman played by McEntire who unexpectedly becomes co-owner of her late father's restaurant with a half-sister she never knew existed.

McEntire will work together with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on popular shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.

According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who were previously executive producers on Reba, will be working with Reba McEntire on the upcoming comedy series for NBC.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her debut on television in the early 2000s with the successful sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
