Reba McEntire Returns to TV: Reuniting with ‘Reba’ Team for New Sitcom

Reba McEntire will be working with the team from her previous show "Reba" to create a new sitcom for television. The singer and actress is making a return to television.

Following her role as a coach on the TV show "The Voice," Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a pilot of a multi-camera comedy show.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, the show is about a character played by McEntire who inherits her father's restaurant. She is not happy to find out that she now has a new business partner in the form of a half-sister she was unaware of.

McEntire is set to work with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott again. Abbott has worked on popular shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.

Reportedly, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who used to work as executive producers on the TV show Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her upcoming NBC comedy series.
