Reba McEntire is reuniting with the team from the show "Reba" to work on a new sitcom, marking her return to television.
Following her coaching role on The Voice, Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new multi-camera comedy pilot that does not yet have a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show is centered on McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant and is not happy to find out that she now has a new business partner in the form of her previously unknown half-sister.

McEntire will collaborate with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, known for his work on shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
It has been reported that Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on the upcoming NBC comedy series.
NBC has just ordered its first pilot for 2024 after the strikes from the Writer's Guild and Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) came to an end.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her debut on television in the early 2000s with a successful sitcom called Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
The show featured McEntire playing the role of a mother living in Texas who is dealing with the end of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's teenage pregnancy.
