  • by

The upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans means that CMA Fest will undergo significant changes in the coming years. The event will look different due to this development.

The main shows of the festival have been held at Nissan Stadium for many years, but they will be relocated to the new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association plans to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest, and they are excited to host country music fans in Nashville for the nightly concerts at the new stadium.

A new stadium, called the New Nissan Stadium, will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located east of the existing Nissan Stadium. Construction will start this year, and the stadium is expected to open in 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be enclosed and focused on providing fans with an exceptional experience. It will have panoramic views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, has been taking place since 1972 and is considered the ultimate experience for country music fans. What began as a small gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium has grown into one of the largest annual events in country music. Every year, thousands of fans from around the world come together in Music City to watch over 250 performances on nine stages.
