Chris Young Reflects on Arrest and Dropped Charges, Thanks Fans for Support

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the tumultuous week that involved allegations of assault.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expresses in the video how much it meant to them to have friends and fans support them and assure them that they do not believe the accusations against them.

"It was a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was receiving so much love and support from others."

The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House in the city center of Nashville.

The security camera footage captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then shoves Young, causing him to trip and fall inside the bar.

"I'm still trying to make sense of all the false accusations and events that happened in the past week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The release of "Double Down" is scheduled for midnight on Friday, February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
