Country music star Reba McEntire will be working with her former team from the TV show "Reba" on a new sitcom. After some time away, she is returning to television.
Following her time as a coach on The Voice, Reba McEntire is partnering with NBC once again for a new multi-camera comedy pilot that does not yet have a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant and is surprised to find out she now has a new business partner in the form of her half-sister whom she was unaware of.

McEntire will be working again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on successful TV shows such as Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has ordered its first pilot of 2024 following the conclusion of strikes by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her television debut in the early 2000s with the successful sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
In the show, McEntire played the role of a mother from Texas who is dealing with the challenges of a failing marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's unexpected pregnancy during her teenage years.
