In the coming years, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans. This means that the festival may not look the same as it has in the past.
The festival's main performances have been held at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, but they will be moved to a new venue once it is finished.
The Country Music Association is planning to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited to host country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the new stadium.
A new stadium, appropriately named the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located east of the current Nissan Stadium. The construction is expected to start this year and the stadium is anticipated to open in 2027.
Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The Titans' new stadium will not be open-air like their current one. Instead, it will be a closed facility designed to provide fans with a better experience. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and a large community area that can be utilized throughout the entire year.
