The Future of CMA Fest: What to Expect as the Tennessee Titans Get a New Stadium

The upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans will bring changes to the future of CMA Fest. The event will likely undergo transformations in the coming years due to this development.

The main shows of the festival have been taking place at Nissan Stadium for a while now, but they will be moving to a new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association stated that they will continue to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans during CMA Fest each year. They are excited to host country fans in Nashville for the nightly concerts at the new stadium.

A new stadium, called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located east of the current Nissan Stadium. The construction is expected to start this year, and the stadium is projected to open in 2027.

Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be enclosed and designed to provide fans with an exceptional experience. It will offer panoramic views of Nashville, feature a translucent roof, and include 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is considered the ultimate experience for country music fans. It originated in 1972 with 5,000 fans gathering at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, and has since grown into one of the largest annual events in country music. Every year, tens of thousands of fans from around the world come together in Music City to enjoy over 250 performances on nine stages.
