Chris Young Reflects on Arrest and Dropped Charges: Thanks Fans for Their Support

Chris Young is speaking to his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved being arrested for assault.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was arrested on the night of January 22.

Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and disbelief in the accusations made against him.

"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to have to experience that. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to signal a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing with his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.

Young mentions that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events from the past week. However, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I have strong feelings for you, and I want to express my gratitude," Young expresses.
