The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different regions of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, the unique aspect of this situation is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be identified as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His love for roping and riding runs deep, as he has been involved in these activities since he was young. Ferrell, who is one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and his love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue a farming career. He currently runs his own farm, raising both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm that grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town where he resides is very small, with just one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Being a farmer is a tradition in his family, as he learned the ropes from his father while growing up. Rogers is dedicated to carrying on the family business and maintaining the legacy that his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father when he was 12, taking on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on Fox.
