Super Bowl 58: The Most Expensive Ticket in History

  • by

The upcoming Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the game's history. If you plan on attending, be prepared to pay top dollar as this year's event is shaping up to be a luxury experience for high-end attendees.

As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide you with a seat in the upper 300 section, although the site does mention that the purchase guarantees you a seat.

If the prices remain steady, this Super Bowl ticket could become the most costly in history. The previous most expensive Super Bowl ticket was for the 2020 game, with an average purchase price of $6,370. The high price that year was largely due to the fact that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were competing. However, this year, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.

The upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas is the first of its kind, and experts believe that this unique location is causing ticket prices to rise. Fans are eager to combine a weekend in Sin City with the excitement of attending the world's largest sporting event.

In case you were curious, the average cost of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.

A significant number of 49er fans prioritize location when buying tickets, according to StubHub. The data shows that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, where fans can easily travel to see their team play. In contrast, Kansas and Missouri account for only 7 percent of ticket sales on the site.

Let's also remember the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event may attract a larger number of female fans than usual.

Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium with 65,000 seats will be filled to capacity. The Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11th at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
