Chris Young has finally broken his silence and addressed his fans for the first time following his recent arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He admits that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved accusations of assault against him.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed how much it meant to them to have friends and fans show their support and believe in them, saying "we are here for you, we don't think you did any of this," in the video.
It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through such a situation is not something I would want anyone to experience. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown.
The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by blocking his path with his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to trip backwards into the bar and fall down.
"I'm still dealing with the aftermath of the untrue allegations and events that happened last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The song "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a great time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
