Chris Young Breaks Silence: Reflects on Arrest, Dropped Charges, and Fan Support

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved him being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to his friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and believe in his innocence.

"It was a relief to see the charges dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at a venue called the Dawg House located in the city center of Nashville.

In the security camera footage, it is clear that Young remained composed before he tried to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stagger back into the bar and fall down.

In the video, Young mentions that he is still trying to understand and deal with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. He then shares that the support from fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.

"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
