Behind the Scenes of Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video with Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for the duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" by Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi features some special guest stars who steal the spotlight. The video showcases Bryan and Pardi as co-stars, along with a few familiar faces.

Both singers invited their wives to appear in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field and enjoying the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife, Summer, and later holding his young daughter, Presley, while they ride horses together.

Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects aspects of their personal lives. The video portrays Pardi as a cowboy, representing his West Coast background, while Bryan is depicted as a plowboy, reflecting his family's history as peanut farmers.

Pardi shared with Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt that the song was meant for them to sing together. The song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which was set on a beach. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his album Mr. Saturday Night was released in 2022, excluding a Christmas album from last fall. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February, and they have recently revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
