The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their perfect partners.
However, the unique aspect is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has been involved in roping and riding since he was young, and it runs in his family. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a good mother figure for his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family that did not have previous farmers. His large property has a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, which influenced his decision to pursue farming as a career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small, with just one traffic light, and is surrounded by fields. Being a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He is dedicated to maintaining and expanding the family business, with the goal of carrying on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility, especially after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on the role of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
