By Thursday, the lowest price for a single ticket was $8,000 on TickPick, a website for reselling tickets. This price includes a seat in the upper 300 section, with the guarantee of having a seat.
If the prices remain the same, this Super Bowl ticket will be the most expensive one ever. The previous record was set in 2020, with an average ticket price of $6,370. The high price that year was largely due to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, playing in the game. This year, however, the home team is not playing.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first to take place in Las Vegas, which has led to an increase in ticket prices as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in the city and attend the world's biggest sporting event.

Many 49er fans prefer to attend games at their own stadium due to the convenience of location. According to StubHub, a significant 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, as fans from the state can easily make the shorter trip to support their team.
