Super Bowl 58: The Most Expensive Ticket in History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the game's history, so you'll need to be willing to spend big if you want to attend. It's shaping up to be a game for high rollers.

As of Thursday, the lowest-priced individual ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would grant you a seat in the upper 300 section, with the site ensuring that a seat is reserved for you at that price.

If the prices stay the same, this Super Bowl ticket will be known as the most costly one ever. The 2020 Super Bowl holds the record for the highest ticket purchase price at an average of $6,370. One of the reasons for the high price that year was that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, were competing. This is not the situation this year.

The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first one held in Las Vegas, which has caused ticket prices to increase. Experts believe this is due to fans wanting to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and attend the highly anticipated sporting event.

Just so you know, the average price of a ticket to the first Super Bowl was $12.

The location where games are held is a major consideration for fans of the 49ers. According to StubHub, a website for reselling tickets, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, as fans prefer to make the shorter journey to support their team. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales on the site come from Kansas and Missouri combined.

Don't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event may attract a larger female audience than usual.

No matter how you manage to enter, Allegiant Stadium's 65,000 seats will be completely filled. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
