Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time after being arrested and having the charges against him dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved his arrest on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards his friends and fans who supported him after he was arrested on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed in the video how much it meant to them to have friends and fans show their support and belief that they did not commit the actions they were accused of.
It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through something like this is not something I would want anyone to experience. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support shown.
The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall.
Young expresses that he is still coming to terms with the false accusations and events of the past week at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
"Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume, savor it. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I thank you," Young expresses.
