If the prices remain steady, this Super Bowl ticket will be remembered as the priciest one ever. The 2020 Super Bowl holds the record for the highest average ticket purchase price at $6,370. The main reason for the high price that year was the presence of the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the game. However, this year, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first to take place in Las Vegas, which has led to ticket prices increasing as fans are eager to experience a weekend in Sin City and attend the world's largest sporting event.

The location of the game is an important factor for 49er fans when purchasing tickets. According to StubHub, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, as fans prefer to make the shorter trip to watch their favorite team.
