Family Affair: Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video Features Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for the duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" by Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan features some special guest stars who steal the spotlight alongside the two main artists.

Both singers included their wives in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are shown embracing in a field while watching the sunset. In another scene, Pardi is seen twirling his wife, Summer, on a dance floor. The third scene shows Pardi holding his nearly one-year-old daughter, Presley, while they ride horses together.

It is understandable that Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two artists, with Pardi representing the cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, portraying the plowboy.

Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. He mentioned to Taste of Country Nights that the song revolves around cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of involving family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his Mr. Saturday Night album came out in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last year. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February, and they have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, due in July.
