Jennifer Nettles, who is the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The upcoming season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their potential life partners.

In a unique turn of events, every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come reside on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's spouse.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old man from Sikeston, Mo., considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer due to his expertise in team roping. He oversees a 50-acre farm with horses and cattle, and his passion for roping and riding dates back to his childhood. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His expansive land is home to numerous animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to venture into farming as a career. He currently runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small, with only a single traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural fields. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the farming legacy established by his dad.

At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox at 9PM ET on Thursday, February 1st.
