The upcoming season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are in search of their life partners.

However, there is a unique element to this situation: each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and duties of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, 42, likes to refer to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since he was a young boy. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is a first generation farmer who lives on a large property with abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century. He shares his home with three dogs and was inspired to pursue a career in farming due to his upbringing around horses and spending much of his time outdoors. Kolinsky now owns a farm of his own, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. He lives in a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. Rogers is a second-generation farmer who grew up helping his father on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and maintaining the legacy his father started.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to take on a lot of responsibility since losing his father at 12, helping to care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
