Chris Young is speaking to his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events that occurred, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and assure him that they do not believe he did anything wrong.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support shown."
The situation occurred at a bar called the Dawg House in the heart of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young appears to be composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing towards him. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stagger and fall back into the bar.
"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events of the past week," Young states at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new song "Double Down" will be released this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to express my gratitude," Young expressed.
