Jennifer Nettles, the host of a show on Fox, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will follow the journeys of four farmers located in different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. His love for roping and riding started at a young age and has stuck with him ever since. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced dad to a 12-year-old daughter. He is hoping to find a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

At the age of 27, Mitchell Kolinsky is a new farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large piece of land is home to many animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood included being around horses and spending plenty of time outside, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, 29, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with just one traffic light, and is encompassed by agricultural land. Being a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up assisting his father on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and upholding the legacy established by his father.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility after the loss of his father when he was only 12 years old. He now helps take care of his mother and three sisters while continuing the family farming tradition.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
