Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. Young mentioned that he is still trying to understand and come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed his gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed gratitude for the support from friends and fans who reassured him that they did not believe he had done anything wrong.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through something like that is not something I would want anyone to experience. However, the positive aspect was seeing the overwhelming love and support from others."
The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown
The security camera footage captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stagger backwards into the bar and ultimately fall down.
Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred over the past week. He mentions in the video that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new album "Double Down" will be released this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
