Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan have teamed up for a music video for their song "Cowboys and Plowboys," and they are joined by some special guest stars who make appearances in the video. These familiar faces add an extra level of excitement to the clip and grab the audience's attention.
Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife of 17 years, Caroline Boyer, are shown snuggling in a field and enjoying a sunset together. Pardi is seen spinning his wife Summer around a dance floor and holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while they ride horses together.
It is understandable that Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song gives a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two singers – Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy, while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, takes on the role of the plowboy.
Pardi mentioned that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. He explained to Taste of Country Nights that the song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the video for his 2020 song "One Margarita" which was set at the beach. Similarly, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his album "Mr. Saturday Night" in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February and have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
