Introducing the Farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife: Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer due to his role as a "team roper". He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. With a lifelong passion for roping and riding, Ferrell has been involved in these activities since childhood. As one of the more mature farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. In addition to seeking a partner, Ferrell is looking for someone who can also be a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. He lives on a large property with abundant wildlife and an old cabin from the 19th century, together with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to start a farming career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley across 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is a small community with only one traffic light, surrounded by agricultural fields. As the son of a farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He is now dedicated to running the family farm and carrying on the legacy his father started.
Nathan Smothers, who is 23 years old, comes from a long line of farmers and is the fourth generation in his family to work in citrus and cattle farming in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and more than 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers demonstrates a great deal of wisdom due to the responsibilities he has taken on since losing his father when he was 12. He has had to step up to help support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
