Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to understand and come to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to his friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22.

"It was incredibly meaningful to me, as I received support from numerous friends and fans who reached out to express their belief in my innocence," Young shares in the video.
"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out towards him. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall over.
"I'm still trying to make sense of all the false accusations and events that happened last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I have love for you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
