Both singers featured their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife of 17 years, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field as they watch the sunset. Pardi can be seen twirling his wife Summer on a dance floor, and also holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while riding horses together.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song is based on their personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan comes from a family of peanut farmers, making him the plowboy in the video.
Pardi expressed his agreement with Luke that the song was meant for them to sing together during an interview with Taste of Country Nights. He explained that the song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which had a beach theme. Pardi, on the other hand, included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi released "Cowboys and Plowboys" as his latest music since his last album, Mr. Saturday Night, in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last fall. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February, and they shared that they are expecting another baby girl in July.
