Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events that unfolded during the past week, which involved accusations of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him during his time in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed how much it meant to them to have friends and fans show their support and reassurance by saying, "we believe in you and don't think you did anything wrong."
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. However, it was heartening to see the overwhelming love and support."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before he tries to alert a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out to him. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
Young expresses that he is still dealing with the effects of false accusations and events that occurred in the previous week. He mentions in the video that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album before its scheduled release.
"Double Down" will be released this Friday at midnight, February 2nd.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I value you, I care for you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
