Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His love for roping and riding runs deep, as he has been involved in it since he was a young child. As one of the more mature farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His property is large and has a variety of wildlife, as well as a historic cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood included being around horses and spending time outdoors, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. Now, he is the owner of his own farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that covers 1,000 acres and produces potatoes and barley. Center is a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. Rogers is a farmer who learned the trade from his father and is now the second generation to run the family business. He plans to carry on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, 23, comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters.
Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
