Family Matters: Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Music Video Features Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for the duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" featuring Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi includes some special guest stars who make appearances and stand out in the video alongside the two main artists.

Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field while watching the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife, Summer, on a dance floor and holding his daughter, Presley, while riding on horseback.

It is understandable why Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two artists, with Pardi representing the cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, portraying the plowboy.

Pardi explained to Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt that the song was meant for them to sing together. He mentioned that the song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers are known for including their family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020, which had a beach theme. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his song "Tequila Little Time" in 2021.

Pardi's latest song, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first release since his album Mr. Saturday Night in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last autumn. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February, and they have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
