Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest: “I Appreciate You, I Love You, and Thank You

Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him during his night in jail on January 22nd.

Young expressed his gratitude for the support he received from friends and fans who reached out to him and reassured him that they did not believe he was responsible for the situation.

"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

The security camera footage captures Young appearing composed before he tries to get the Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent's attention by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.

"I'm still trying to understand and come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

The new album "Double Down" is set to release on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.

"Turn up the volume, savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I am thankful," Young expresses.
