The music video for Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan's new song "Cowboys and Plowboys" features some special guest appearances that add to the excitement. While Pardi and Bryan are the main stars of the video, there are also some familiar faces that make an appearance and grab the audience's attention.
Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are shown cuddling in a field and watching the sunset. Pardi is seen spinning his wife, Summer, on a dance floor, and holding his nearly one-year-old daughter, Presley, while sitting on horseback.
Bryan and Pardi decided to feature their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song gives a glimpse into their personal backgrounds. In the video, Pardi represents the cowboy, reflecting his West Coast roots, while Bryan portrays the plowboy, drawing from his family's history of peanut farming.
Pardi shared with Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. He explained that the song is centered around cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including their family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which was set on a beach. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi released his new music "Cowboys and Plowboys" as his latest project after his album "Mr. Saturday Night" in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last fall. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February and they are expecting their second child, a girl, in July.
