Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the game's history. To attend this year's Super Bowl, you will need to have a significant amount of money to spend.
As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would give you a seat in the upper 300 section, although the site does mention that the purchase ensures you will have a seat.
If the current prices remain, this year's Super Bowl ticket will be remembered as the most costly one ever. The previous record holder for the highest priced ticket was the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket price was $6,370. One of the reasons for the high price that year was because the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were playing. However, this year is different as the home team is not playing.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first one to take place in Las Vegas, and ticket experts believe this is causing prices to increase. Fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and top it off with the highly anticipated sporting event.
In case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
For 49er fans, the location of the game is an important factor in their decision to buy tickets. According to StubHub, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, where many fans are able to make the shorter trip to see their favorite team. In comparison, only 7 percent of ticket sales come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Also worth mentioning is the influence of Taylor Swift. Her presence at the event could attract a larger number of female fans than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium, which has a capacity of 65,000 seats, will be filled to capacity. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start at 6:30PM ET on Sunday, February 11th.
