Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges for assault. He mentioned that he is still trying to wrap his head around the events of the past week.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was arrested on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him when friends and fans showed their support by saying they believe in him and don't think he was involved in any wrongdoing.
It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what happened. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others.
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
Footage from a security camera captures Young acting calmly before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm towards him. In response, the agent pushes Young, causing him to stumble and fall backwards into the bar.
Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. He mentions in the video that the support from his fans encouraged him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new release "Double Down" will be available this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
