In Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife, viewers will meet Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old man who considers himself a cowboy rather than a farmer because of his skills in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Mo., where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers featured on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His expansive land is home to various animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and developed a love for the outdoors, leading him to pursue a farming career. He currently runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. He lives in a small town with only one traffic light and is surrounded by farmland. As a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is experienced and responsible. At the age of 12, he had to take on more responsibilities after his father passed away, helping to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
