Jennifer Nettles, the host of a show on Fox, acknowledges that this season features women who are more expressive, energetic, and responsive, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.
The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their ideal partners.
The unique aspect is that every farmer will choose five women out of a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a lifelong passion for roping and riding, starting from his childhood. As one of the more mature farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion, but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family of farmers. His large property has a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky has always been surrounded by horses and enjoyed spending time in nature, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He now runs his own farm with horses and cattle.
At 29 years old, Brandon Rogers manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is tiny, with just one stoplight, and is encompassed by agricultural land. Coming from a farming background, Rogers worked alongside his father on the farm during his youth. He is now carrying on the family business and aims to uphold the legacy initiated by his father.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers demonstrates maturity beyond his years. He took on responsibilities early in life after his father passed away when he was 12, stepping up to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox at 9PM ET on Thursday, February 1st.
