Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved his arrest on charges of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was held in jail on the night of January 22nd.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and reassure him that they believe he is innocent.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by putting his arm out. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble and fall over inside the bar.
"I'm still trying to make sense of all the untrue accusations and events that happened last week," Young explains at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new release "Double Down" will be available starting this Friday at midnight on February 2nd.
Young encourages you to turn up the volume and enjoy the music. He expresses his gratitude, love, and appreciation towards you.
