Inside Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s Heartwarming ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Music Video Featuring Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan's song "Cowboys and Plowboys" features some special guest appearances that add to the excitement of the video. Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi are the main stars of the video, but there are other familiar faces that make appearances and stand out in the video.

Both singers decided to have their significant others appear in their music videos. Bryan is seen in one scene cuddling with his wife Caroline Boyer in a field as they watch the sunset. Another scene shows Pardi twirling his wife Summer around a dance floor, while a third scene depicts Pardi holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley as they ride horseback together.

Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song is about their own personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, plays the role of the plowboy.

Pardi expressed that both he and Luke felt that it was natural for them to sing the song together, as it revolves around cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of featuring their family members in their music videos. Bryan included his wife and mother in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his song "Tequila Little Time" in 2021.

Pardi's latest music release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first since the release of his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022. Excluding a Christmas album released last fall, this marks his return to creating new music. Last February, Pardi and his wife Summer welcomed their first child, Presley. They have now announced that they are expecting their second child, another girl, due in July.
