Super Bowl 58 is on track to have the highest-priced tickets ever. If you're hoping to attend this year's game, you'll need to be prepared to spend a lot of money as it is expected to be the most costly Super Bowl yet.
As of Thursday, the lowest priced single ticket available was $8,000 on the ticket resale platform TickPick. This ticket would provide a seat in the upper 300 section, but it is important to note that the site ensures a guaranteed seat for that price.
If the prices remain steady, this Super Bowl ticket could be recorded as the priciest in history. The previous record holder was the 2020 Super Bowl, with an average ticket price of $6,370. One of the main reasons for the high cost that year was the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, participating in the game. However, this year, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first to take place in Las Vegas, and ticket experts believe this is causing prices to rise as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and attend the prestigious sporting event.
Just in case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
Many 49er fans prioritize location when buying tickets, as StubHub data reveals that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, where fans can easily travel to see their team play. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Let's also consider the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event could attract a larger female audience than usual.
Regardless of how you gain entry, the Allegiant Stadium with its 65,000 seats will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.
