Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the tumultuous week that involved him being arrested for assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed his gratitude on social media to his friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have the support of friends and fans who didn't believe the accusations against him.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
A security camera recording captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
In the video, Young mentions that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the previous week. Towards the end of the video, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new release "Double Down" will be available on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to express my gratitude," Young states.
