Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the game's history. Only those with a lot of money to spend will be able to attend this year's event.
As of Thursday, the lowest priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide a seat in the upper 300 section, with the site ensuring that a seat is reserved for the buyer at that price.
If the prices remain the same, this year's Super Bowl ticket will be the most costly one ever. The previous record was set in 2020, with an average ticket price of $6,370. The high price that year was largely due to the fact that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, were competing in the game. This year, however, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be taking place in Las Vegas for the first time ever, and experts believe this is causing ticket prices to increase. Fans are eager to experience a weekend in Sin City and top it off with the highly anticipated sporting event.
In case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
The proximity to the stadium is a significant reason why 49er fans are eager to purchase tickets. According to StubHub, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, as fans living in the state have a shorter distance to travel to watch their team play. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Don't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event could attract a larger number of female fans than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium's 65,000 seats will be full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11th, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
