Chris Young has spoken to fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent charges being dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to understand and come to terms with the events of the past week.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed in the video that it was very meaningful to him to have so many friends and fans show their support and tell him that they believe in his innocence.
"It was a relief to see the charges dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm as he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then shoves Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events from the past week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he explains that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album sooner than planned.
The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.
