Jennifer Nettles, who is hosting the Fox show, acknowledges that the women on the current season are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are in search of their soulmates.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and duties of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer because of his expertise in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, filled with horses and cattle. Ty has been roping and riding since he was young, and it runs in his family. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ty is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and filled with various wildlife, as well as a historic cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing included horses and spending time outdoors, which inspired his decision to become a farmer. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town where he resides is small, with just one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a farming background, Rogers worked alongside his father on the farm during his childhood. He is now running the family business and aims to carry on the legacy that his father began.

At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers in Bartow, Florida. He is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on Fox.
